What is Budget pacing?
Budget pacing is how evenly ad spend is being used against the planned budget over a period, so a monthly budget isn't used up early or left unspent.
Formula
Pacing = spend to date ÷ (monthly budget × share of the month elapsed)Pacing above 100% means you'll run out early; below 100% means the plan is under-delivering. Both cost growth.
Pacing is a budget question, not a performance one: the money should still go to the ad sets earning the best real return.
Example
₹2.4 lakh spent by the 15th of a 30-day month against a ₹4 lakh budget is pacing at 120%.
