Approval required before connection
Shopify Integration
After Shopify approves the app and a merchant authorizes the required scopes, connect Shopify inside Glimmio to sync catalog, order, customer, checkout, fulfillment, and inventory data.
What the embedded app does. Inside Shopify admin you get connection state, sync status and billing for the store. Campaign work, the approval queue, reporting and lifecycle run in the Glimmio portal, which the embedded app links straight through to.
How connection works
When the Glimmio Shopify app is approved and available, a store administrator installs it from Shopify and approves permissions on Shopify's own authorization screen.
Shopify sends the OAuth credentials directly to Glimmio. An authorized workspace member then confirms the exact business account using a short-lived one-time handoff. Glimmio validates the shop and scopes, encrypts the credentials, and starts sync.
Connection controls
- Shopify-hosted authorization when the app is approved and available
- OAuth credentials encrypted before storage
- Each account connected to exactly one business, with role-based access
- Webhook signatures verified with the Glimmio Shopify app secret
- Initial and incremental sync jobs remain inside Glimmio
Revocation and deletion
Uninstalling Glimmio in Shopify revokes its OAuth token, cancels its Shopify app subscription, and stops future access. Glimmio marks the connection unhealthy when access is revoked or an uninstall webhook arrives.
