What is Blended ROAS and MER?
Blended ROAS, also called MER (marketing efficiency ratio), is total store revenue divided by total ad spend across every channel. It ignores platform attribution entirely.
Formula
MER = total store revenue ÷ total marketing spendBecause MER uses revenue your store recorded, it can't count one order twice the way platform ROAS can. It is the efficiency number finance teams trust.
Its limit is that it can't say which campaign earned the revenue, so teams pair MER for the business view with ad-set ROAS matched to orders for day-to-day decisions.
Example
₹48.6 lakh of store revenue on ₹14.3 lakh of Meta and Google spend gives a blended ROAS of 3.4×.
