Glimmio is committed to data privacy. This page explains how to request data deletion, export your data, and our retention policies.
Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)
If you wish to delete your Glimmio account and all associated data, you must be the Owner of the workspace.
- Disconnect active integrations in Settings → Integrations.
- Email help@glimmio.com from the workspace Owner's address.
- Include the workspace name and the scope of the deletion request.
We verify ownership before deletion and confirm any records that must be retained for legal, tax, security, or payment-dispute obligations.
End-Customer Data Deletion
Glimmio acts as a Data Processor for your end-customers' data (e.g., when sending WhatsApp or email messages). If your customer requests deletion of their data (GDPR Article 17 / CCPA):
- Forward the request to help@glimmio.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request - End Customer".
- Include the customer's email address or phone number.
- We will verify the request and confirm when the applicable records have been removed or anonymized.
Data Export
Workspace Owners can request a complete export of their workspace data (GDPR Right to Data Portability).
- Email help@glimmio.com from the Owner's email address.
- After identity and ownership verification, data is provided in an appropriate machine-readable format.
Data Retention Policy
- Ad Campaign Data: Cached while needed for connected reporting and removed through the verified deletion workflow.
- Order & Customer Data (Shopify): Glimmio stores the order, customer, consent, attribution, and contact records needed for reporting, lifecycle messaging, suppression, and verified-purchase reviews. These records stay isolated to your business and are removed through the account-deletion process described below.
- Action Center History: Retained while needed for execution audit and rollback safety, then handled through the verified deletion workflow.
- AI Conversation History: Retained with the Business Account until it is removed through the verified deletion workflow.
