Connect Shopify

Shopify authorization takes a few clicks. There are no custom apps, API keys, store-domain forms, or access tokens to copy.

Before you start

• Use a Shopify account allowed to install apps on the store.
• In Glimmio, select the exact business account that owns the store.
• Your Glimmio role must include the Shopify connection permission.

Install and connect

1. Open Settings → Integrations → Shopify in Glimmio.
2. Select Install from Shopify.
3. Review the requested permissions on Shopify's installation screen and approve them.
4. Open Glimmio from Shopify and select Finish in Glimmio.
5. Confirm the selected Glimmio business account. Glimmio validates the shop and queues the first sync.
6. For a new Shopify-billed account, choose a plan and approve the charge on Shopify's billing screen.

Security and billing

Shopify sends the OAuth token directly to Glimmio. It is encrypted before storage and never appears in the browser. The one-time account claim expires after one hour and can be used only by a signed-in user with access to the selected business account. App subscriptions for Shopify-installed accounts are approved and billed by Shopify.

Disconnect

Uninstall Glimmio from Shopify Admin to revoke access and stop future sync. Shopify also cancels the app subscription. Use Glimmio's data-deletion process if historical data must be erased.
